Launching a premium skincare brand

Walker Johnston, a high-quality natural skincare manufacturer, was looking for marketing communications to launch the business and their first ever product range ‘Victor’.

Packaging - attracting consumers to the product in a crowded marketplace was the top priority. The packaging needed to be impactful and reflect the premium brand position, as well as provide a pleasurable consumer experience for the purchaser and end user.

Website - interpreting the brand for digital applications was central to the project. The Walker Johnston website was initially the sole platform for sales. As such, creating an intuitive, easily navigable website with sales messaging and key information in all the right places was imperative.

Content marketing - post launch, the creation of a content-led marketing strategy was essential to build brand awareness, consumer trust and recognition within the sector. Rolling out a programme of material across digital platforms would maximise the benefit of budget expenditure at a critical stage of the business. This would include social media activity, blog posts, press coverage and newsletters.

Presenting to the trade - presenting the brand and the product proposition to trade, press and influencers was important to secure retail listings and wider media coverage. A brand presentation was required to ensure the unique back-story and benefits were communicated clearly and concisely in one document.
