Development of visual identity for a range of bar soaps to target the male personal care market.

Following the success of the Eco Warrior cleansing bar launch, we developed a brand logo and packaging design for the Eco Warrior Men’s Edit.

The brand extension was created to extend commercial reach by providing a plastic-free alternative to traditional personal care products.

Building on the work we had undertaken on the core Eco Warrior brand; we created a visual identity for the sub-brand which included a logo and packaging with distinctive repeat prints.

Key to the project was the development of a look and feel that balanced familiarity with stand-out appeal. Three bars were created by the Eco Warrior team to cover core ‘go-to’ personal care products – a body bar, shampoo bar and shave bar.

The range needed to be distinct from other men’s products on the market, but also sit comfortably within the category. It was important to carve a niche within the Eco Warrior brand family, appealing directly to the male target market.

Moving away from the ingredient-led core Eco Warrior packaging styling, to an abstract aesthetic reflects the individual product formulation’s emphasis on performance.

The vibrant painterly repeat prints give the products a sense of dynamism and movement. Each bar has a distinct hero colour palette, with monochrome shades that are shared across packs.

About Eco Warrior Men’s Edit…

Eco warrior Men’s Edit is a sub-brand of Eco Warrior, a vegan, cruelty free and RSPO accredited, plastic-free range of natural solid format bars and accessories.

With a focus on formulation performance delivered through high-quality natural ingredients, the Men’s Edit range launched with three bars. In line with the core brand, these have been formulated to provide plastic-free alternatives to core personal care needs.

Eco Warrior Men’s Edit bars have been listed in Ocado, Waitrose and Amazon and are also available to purchase through online retailers. In 2021 they won the Eco Lifestyle Award within the Beauty Shortlist Awards and the shampoo bar has won Bronze in the 2024 Natural Health Beauty Awards.
